Default BJJ training

Im just starting to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and i was wondering whether there were any specific exercises I could do to help strengthen my clinch, and just in general help me have a stronger grip/hold in grappling. Any suggestions?

Hang your gi up (or a towel) on a pull up bar. Do pull ups on the gi. Easy to do outside.

Deadlifts are great for clinch strength. Also ,the grip balls/clips are fine. I like to do plate pinchs personally.
