Default Does it matter how high you hang up a punch bag?

i am gettin a heavy bag to put in my shed the roof of the shed is'nt very high i can just about touch it with my hand does it matter if its a little low

Only insofar as you will only be able to train hitting hard really "low".

I suppose you could always get a much smaller bag also, and fill it with someonething very substantial (like sand) to practice the head shots on?

Ive got the same problem in my basement. My cieling is low. I took a chain and looped it closer to the top and now it works fine. It looks kinda funny but its better then punching it on my knees
