I have started doing 15 minutes of intense cross country running for my warm up, the only problem is that when I stretch after the run my legs are tightened some what. After I've stretched I do intense bag work, then do free weights, then pull ups and then do machine leg weights and then sit ups, back raises, and then push ups.
I am getting back my rythmn again and feeling better since I started running more regular. I have started listening to my body more and training more intelligently, ie stretching alot more and thinking more scientifically. Is this cross country running a wise way of warming up, or could the hill running cause permanent tightening of my hamstrings? |
