At the start of this year I was about 16 stone, couldn't manage 2 press-ups and was a depressed mess... pathetic
After deciding enough is enough In March I re-joined a kickboxing club that I'd attended in the past, took up Ju-Jitsu and started hitting the gym at least once a day 6 times a week Anyway 6 months down the line I'm down to 86kg in weight and running a ten mile race for charity next month ![]() I feel like a different man now - however there is still a long way to go Typically the closer I've come to the correct weight for my height (1.85m) the harder it is to get noticeable results from the workouts During this rehabilitation process I've heard all sorts of nonsense about nutrition, exercise etc and want to ask you guys who are in the know what is possible and what is not.. Basically I'm trying to loose body fat and increase muscle mass simultaneously By doing both weights and loads of road/cardio work am I wasting my time? Should I concentrate on loosing more fat through road work before adding muscle by lifting, or is doing both beneficial? Cheers for your help in advance |
