This is my first post here, been coming here quite some time and reading lots.
I have read and searched around some, but still havent seen or come up with a good answer for the question I am about to ask. I realize it has been asked several times, but with quite a few different answers. I am a male 33 yrs old, im 5'9" and about 207lbs. I have been doing some type of martial arts since I was about 8 yrs old or so. I have always been somewhat big in the chest, and smaller in the waist. As of now im about 33" in the waist, and 48" in the chest. Now the question at hand. I am looking to cut up, as i have this weird tire around my abs. I have strong strong legs that are lean, and my arms are lean, my chest is somewhat softer, as with the upper abs, but my lower abs have always given me a problem. (the freekin tire effect) I have never used any supplements or anything of the sort, and I will be opening up a martial arts school soon, and I want to be in the best shape I can be in. I am very flexable for a guy my size, and quite fast, cardio is decent, and strength is above average. But I was wondering what supplements would you guys/gals take to maybe cut up, or slim down somewhat, while building a little muscle? Not looking to gain any weight, lookin to loose it or at least get rid of the excess body fat I have now. I do lots of exercises, such as, squats, lunges, crunches, pushups, curls, jog, situps. Lots more of no weight, and weighted exercises. Any ideas? Any input would be appreciated. btw, just started my first multi vit. ever today. p.s. please forgive me speeeling, as im a hick

No problem, bro. Everyone is welcome here!
The answer lies in cutting back in alcohol and fats in your diet... . Don't cry, its not gonna kill you. Eat leaner cuts of meat; cut back on your beer and keep working out like you have been.PS - I'd like your comment on the pit below. Its two halves of a barrel welded together on the ends! PSS - I've made a good number of hotdogs and burgers on that grill!

Thanx for the quick reply, but unfortunatly, I dont drink beer
sad huh? no alcohol for me, and the fats well their their but I mainly eat, boneless skinless chicken breast, some fish (not my fav) and when I do eat red meat it is the leanest possible. My other meats consist of fresh deli meats, and I refrain from as much noodles n crap like that as possible.ex. for dinner tomorrow, I will boil some chicken (boneless/skinless) and then shred it put it in foil, and spray it with the parkay zero fat/zero calorie spray (lightly) some pepper and put that in the oven for a bit, then make a salad consisting of lett., tomato, carrots, and on the side I will eat some cabbage, and cauliflaur. I stay away from fast foods, and drink mostly water and tea ( tea is sweetened though). I cut out as much white bread as I can, and ummm, eat lots of veggies. This is why im askin for help, im tryin to eat right, and drink lots of water (about a gallon a day or more) and still have no luck. Pit is nice, just make sure you got a way to clean that bad boy, and some are for the bottom and a good ol water bottle near by to get rid of those pesky flames.

I stopped drinking beer a few months ago, because of the weight gain. That being said, I'd run more frequently if your body can handle it and also add some long, slow runs into the mix. Distances of 5 miles or greater. Add cylcing and swimming too. If you look carefully at the pic, we've got a validated fire extinguisher on hand.

Myoplex and metR-x are good in a blender with apple juice and bannanas.

Like Nike says, Just do it. Met-Rx alone will not do it; you still gotta hit the gym. Pump that iron son!!!

Results?
Earlier on in the year, I weighed just under 200 - in decent shape. Now, I'm 176 and probably the best shape I've been in years. The secret: eating just until the hunger edge is gone, 4 meals a day of healthy stuff and ALOT of excercise.
