I get sleepy when I start working out. I also start feeling sick in my stomach. I've tried eating 30 mins before I work out and some times 1-2 hours before I work out but both give me the same results.. bad stomach feeling. Those are my two main issues right now.. getting sleepy and tired when I work out and sick feeling to my stomach. Does that happen to anyone else? Or should I go to the doctor and get this checked out.

try to eat more then 2 hours before,... i never eat half hour or hour before working out...try this, eat 3-4hours before and you wont have stomach sick.

1. Try getting a full 8 hours of sleep the night before you workout - if possible. I've completed a 6 hour, continuous high intensity workout going on 1.5 hours of sleep, so I know what you mean....
2. If you push yourself really hard, you may feel like throwing up. That's kind of expected. It happens to runners, swimmers, wrestlers and just about every other athlete when they push themselves to their limits. During Mike Tyson's prime, he would do countless rounds of intense pad work, often dragging himself to a corner to puke. Back off a little on the intensity of your workout.

I am falling asleep at around 12 to 1 am at night because I'm having trouble falling asleep when I lay down around 10 or 11. But I will try falling asleep earlier and will back off a little on the intensity of my workout, thanks.
