Default Diet for MMA & Thaiboxing needed - Lacking energy =(

Hi guys,

I have been trying to lose a bit of weight whilst training 5/6 days a week and it has really screwed me up and I've ended up overtraining... I constantly feel like I have NO ENERGY and am totally drained / demoralised... I was wondering if someone could recommend me a diet?

I am currently 69KG and want to get to 66KG, so keep that in mind, I train MMA / Kickboxing 5/6 days a week for 2 hours a day.

Current Diet:

06:00am - Apple or Yoghurt
08:30am - Wheat-a-bix
10:30am - Yoghurt or Apple
12:00am - Can of Tuna
02:30pm - Bowl of Mixed Vegetables
04:40pm - 80g Turkey Breast
09:00pm - 80g Turkey Breast & bowl of peas
10:30pm - Yoghurt

are you sure you're eating enough? it always seems counter-intuitive, but you've got to eat enough that your body doesn't freak out and shut down

thats terrible, youve clearly read some bodybuilding sites and then tried to loosely apply what you have read there in a one size fits all manner.

Carbs are your friend. You must eat carbs. Just make sure you are in a calorie deficit.
I wouldnt give that diet to a 12 year old girl.

Okiez, I have changed my diet up a bit now after some advice here and other forums when cutting from 75-70 this diet was good, but now I am training for a fight there is no where near enough carbs, so have been eating more.

Morning: Eggs & Wheat-a-bix
Brunch: More Wheat-a-bix
Lunch: Chicken sandwich (whole grain bread)
Tea: Turkey Breast & Vegetables
Dinner: Turkey Breast & Vegetables

better? I had that yesterday and felt much more energy full

so where are the carbs?
i eat about 1.5kg of coooked weight rice a day. How about some fruit.
You are thinking like a bodybuilder, focussing on protein above anything.
You need carbs most then protein and fats. where are the good quality fats?
You cant possibly hope to fight train even for bouncy boxing on that.
Eat alot more and up your output as well.

Exactly... Carbs are key when you're looking for more energy.
