Default Delicious and Nutritous mixes

Every year I diet for about 10 weeks in Summer. (trying to look as close as i can to good for the beach, lol)

Thsi year however, ive been trying to come up with some tasty nutritious mixes.

At the momment, i love oats with tbl spoon peanut butter and tbl golden syrup. (ive lowered my carbs so im watching how much of this i have.)

I would appriciate if anyone could let out some of there secrets on great tasting food which is nutritious

Pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe and bananna - god, I love this combination!

I just made this amazing smoothie... 2 peaches, 3/4 cup yogurt (I separate my yogurt and whey so it's extra fluffy), 1 heaping tsp raw, local honey, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp orange blossom water, a couple ice cubes...in a blender, yum!!

Another summer one is homemade lemonade...1 tbsp raw honey, 3/4 cup filtered water, 1/2 tsp bee pollen, 1 lemon, juiced and ice cups... Add the honey and warm water to the jar, shake it until it dissolves, then bee pollen, then lemon juice...shake shake shake and pour over ice, yum!

I love smoothies! Mostly yogurt and fruit. I've been eating watermelon, fresh corn, sunflower seeds and cherries.

And coffee...

I don't diet much but manage to work off what I eat and maintain some sense of reasonable health. Water is really good lately too.

Organic anything is good enough. (I'm spoiled that way)

I started making Acai smoothies in the morning for breakfast. If anyone has any of their own recipes I'd be interested in hearing them. I usually just mix some vanilla protein, apple juice, half a banana, yogurt, frozen blueberries, acai juice and some ice cubes.

I think I'll pick up some soy milk and try that instead of apple juice. Also, if anyone has a good website to buy Acai from I'd be interested in checking it out. I just bought some from Whole Foods, but it's kind of expensive there.

I wouldn't recommend soy milk--it is loaded with phytoestrogens...

Just had acai juice for the first time--yum!!

Well while I was dieting this summer I came up with these recipes:

1. 4 Tablespoons Oatmeal, 1 Tablespoon honey on top and mix a little, then add milk just to cover the oatmeal and mix again.

2. Egg whites + olive oil + oregano. So here's what I do, I get 1 whole egg and 4 egg whites. Cut them up really small, put some oregano on, mix it up then add a little olive oil and mix. Tastes pretty good.

3. Grill a chicken breast, cut up into salad size pieces. Put lettuce/tomato/carrot shavings mix up then add the sauce. Sauce = 1 TBSP Dijon Mustard, 1 TBSP Yogurt, 1 TBSP Worchestire sauce and 1 tbsp olive oil. You can add some peas too.

4. Tuna salad without mayo. Take out a can of tuna, add some corn, spring onions and lemon juice on top(portions depend on how you like them). It tastes OK in a sandwich.
