Is whey protein on its own a good enough post workout or should you have whey protein and food ?

just whey protein
you shouldn't eat any solid food within 2 hours of your workout.

but, if you need to add a little extra in your protein mix,
add a bannana and a raw egg and maybe some honey and blend it all together

I think Whey alone, should be fine.. I use it before and after my workouts
