Hello all,

I would like to know what foods do you think people should avoid?

Which foods to eat?

What type of diets are you all on?

Thank-you

Before any of you answer I'd just like to say I'm on a spartan diet.

Cool

I'm on a "don't eat out" diet. In the past two weeks, I've lost 11 lbs. Also, I try to keep the carbs on the low side. Not very successful on the carb part, but I try.

Default Good

Trying things is the best way to learn things. You shouldn't listen to all the phoney labrotory junk. The only lab you need to worry about us your body. Find what works for you and dispose the rest.

That is the WAY.

Theres no harm in trying.

People should aim for supernatural health. Thinking out side of the square is what I do.

Whats the point of aiming for something attainable (long term goals only). When if you aim for something you think is out of your reach you will be driven to get there to the very end.

That what I beleve and live by any way.

I dont think you do, you say you do, but i doubt if you do in reality. You proved to me before that you set personal long term goals for yourself by trying to beat your heros running time, and you are graduaklly working upto that, whether you actually get there is another thing, also if you do happen to run 6.4 kms in that time, running faster than that would be a rare talent to say the least, a specific body is required, its all to do with the gene pool, or as siome would say with what the good lord has given.

??????? im thinking you are an outrageous teenager at this stage.
but perhaps some people need this to actually get off there fat a$$ and get something done. So perhaps im wrong with the first statement. Me, well im just normal and did things the normal way by gradually, over time, bettering myself until i cant go no further, my limit. it hasnt happened yet, but it will one day. on the other hand, how are you going to deal with your failure to reach this unattainable goal? youll be back to square one, with no drive and the body/mind/soul as before, if not worse due to your failure?

"That what I beleve and live by any way.
"

good luck in life, because your going to need some councilling later on for unfulfilled goals in life, if indeed you are as passionate as you say. I personally believe you have read the Tao of JKD too many times, and you have become deluded.
but hey go for gold and as hard as you can, you may need some anaebolic steroids or some other cheats for the super human strength/health too along the way.

Default Tisk, Tisk.

I do not take supplemnts especically not steroids. Steroids and the like are one of the worst inventions ever made. Any one stupid enough to take steroids is an idiot. Steroids and things like that are a panziez way out.

I may not be able to change my genes but I can try. So then my kids will grow up with the best of my genes and if they choose to follow in my footsteps there children will have there parents superior genes and so on.

And it may be impossible to acheve my goals, when Im on my death bed at least in my heart I know that worked as hard as I could to try and acheve them.

The Thing is I get driven by people like you, My mum, dad, uncle etc always say "you cant do this, you cant do that" I'll prove them all wrong one day just weight.

Thanks for the reply,

Cool

If you spend your life trying to prove everybody wrong about what you supposedly can't do you will go crazy. Just try to be the best that you can be. No matter what you are able to do, there will always be somebody, somewhere just a little bit better.

There is much more to life than total health, fitness and fighting. But you'll figure that out eventually.

I use that also to drive myself. knowing that somebody out there could be better than me make me wanna train, learn, fight etc more....

Thanks,

Exclamation Fighter's an asshole

No offense, fighter, but your in way over your head.

I'd like address three easily attainable nutrition bars, and when you should eat them:

Pure Protien Bar:
Meal Replacement
After Training

Power Bar:
Before Training
After Training

Balance Bar:
Meal Replavement
Before Training

It also depends on what type of training your doing. If you're hitting the weights, eat more protien. If it's endurance training, then hit the carbs.

Avoid hamburgers and other fast foods. Eat 2 hot meals per day on those days, when you are not trainig hard and 3 on training days. Eat alot of (1/2 of the plate) salad and poiled vegetables, some (1/4 of the plate) (poiled) potatoes, rice or pasta. and fill 1/4 of the plate with fish, chiken, minced meat etc. If you need snacks between the meals (if you train hard you propably do) eat fruits and/or berries. drink also atleast 1-2 litres of water per day.

I set targets of 3500 calories and 240 grams of protein per day. I don't always take in that much, but I try. With that simple formula, plus avoiding obvious junk food, I've lost 60 lbs. I have more energy that I have had in my life.

T

P.S.: Oh, almost, forgot. You need to do 1.5 hours of cardio per day minimum.
