I was replying to crazyjoe's question in onther forum but I thought I'd throw it over here. IMHO basic foundation for training that most people over look.
Sounds to me like your under-eating and over training. What are the three most important aspects of training for any sport? Rest, nutrition, and training (in that order). Picture a pyramid. Adequate rest (recuperation) is the foundation and should equal about 50%. Proper nutrition about 40%, and training at the point should equal about 10% (But make that a very intense 10%). Most people spend a majority of their time training and neglect the other two, especially the rest component. How much sleep do you average every night? You should get about 7-8 hours if you can. It also sounds as though your diet needs help big time. I would highly recommend picking up a book or two on sports nutrition. Do the research your self, you'll learn more and get more out of it. And listen to your body. It appears that your doing the training, but if you are neglecting one or both of the other two---you body is not running on all cylinders. William |

I know a lot about nutrition, but I still have trouble choosing the right foods. Check out my training program under Insanity Workout Program 1, and here'es a sample nutrition for a day:
I weigh 158 pound, age 16 Cardio Breakfast: 1 bowl cereal, medium apple Mulitvitamins 2 pills of stacker 2 lite After school: 1 frozen burrito 2 pills stacker 2 lite Dinnner: Whatever mom makes (I'ma vegetarian) 2 pills stacker 2 lite As you can see, I can fit in only 3 meals. I may eat a protien bar or balance bar at school if I get hungry. But right now, I ran out. So i'm basically starving at school. I get sick when I go to the cafateria because of the meat. I hate the thought of all that slaughter
