The Don has terminated your contract. Any question of cardio is now a moot point chum.....

What I have been doing which has resulted in me dropping weight is to get on a treadmill for an hour. Set it for fast walk for half and hour then run for five minutes and then walk for five minutes for the next half hour.

When you going to come visit the MT class?

Hey Holte,

Are you going to be starting soon? I am going to be up there next Wed. to try the MT class and then start classes in January.

As far as your question goes....I have been doing limited weight training 3 nights a week and cardio on the opposite nights. I usually hit the treadmill walking for 5 minutes, running for 20, then walking for 5. Or I attempt to skip for 5 to 10 minutes and then run on the treadmill for 15 minutes. I have lost between 7-10 lbs in the last 2 months (only been doing the cardio part for about a month). Don't now if it will help, but it has made a huge difference for me.

Cardio depends on your individual needs. Your goal should be to get down to 11% bodyfat, and try to maintain it from there. If you need to lose 2 inches off your waist, you really don't need to be that strict, 2 inches should be easy. I myself went from a 37 to a 32 in about a month. I used Stacker 2, and jogged for 30 minutes, 3 days a week, along with my martial arts classes twice a week, and weight training 4 to 5 times a week. But, if you choose to do a lot of activities, you should also eat a lot. Don't starve yourself. When I want to maintain my weight, I eat 2500 calories, If I want to lose weight I cut down to 2000. If I ever wanted to gain weight, I may go up to 3000. I probably go to 3000 on binge days, such as my birthday, holiday, and other special parties. But don't exceed more than 2 binge days per month. And lay off the booze.
