DOES YOUR METABOLISM NEED A BOOST?
You got me. I'm turning myself in. I admit it--I'm a serial cereal skipper. I've Leggo my Eggo every day this week. When it comes to toast, I've been burnt out, and even fruit like bananas seem unaPEELing to me so early in the morning. But before you condemn me to a life behind cereal bars, try to understand my side of the story. I really thought I was doing my figure a big favor. I never meant to harm anyone--especially my metabolism. My thinking was that the less calories each day, the better, right? And let's face it, who really has time for breakfast anymore these days when the kids are running late for school, you forgot to iron that shirt for work, and your mind has decided to sleep in while your body is on the go? "A lot of people trying to lose weight think that skipping breakfast is a good idea -- but in fact, it's anything but wise. The reality is, a good breakfast can actually help you lose weight!" says NUTRICISE NUTRITIONIST Theresa Davis MS, RD. "Breakfast increases the metabolic rate by 25 percent, which explains why people feel better after eating in the morning." I've decided the saying is true: You are what you eat. And when I ate nothing all morning, my mental and physical abilities amounted to nothing too. Ever since I decided to break the fast, I've noticed my metabolism getting a little faster too. That's why our NUTRICISE NUTRITIONISTS have tips and hints that are guaranteed to help you break your breakfast fast! _______________________________________ 10 FOODS THAT JUMP START YOUR METABOLISM! _______________________________________ 1.
