![]() | Apart, from the obvious, which is to practice the kick! For info, my style uses a straight out side kick that is like the front kick until the last moment when the hip is turned. The kick strikes with the heel and leading edge of the foot (big toe up, other toes turned down). I'm looking for co-ordination and accuracy improvements, as opposed to raw power. |

![]() | stand facing a wall and get up against it. Put your hands on the wall and slowly shoot the kick down the wall while pivoting your feet for support. Do hundreds of reps like this. It develops power and flexibility. Repeat to the other side. Also do the kick in extreme slow motion while standing and maintaining balance. Also, like you said- do the kick. |
