Well, I'm no preofessional but the way I got mine while I still cared was just runnig a lot and watching what I ate. That helped get rid of body fat around the stomach area, which is pretty much where all the fat was, in my case that is. Everyone knows you can’t burn fat in a just a problem area. Your body burns the fat from wherever it wants so you’ll just have to be all around lean. Anyway, I jump roped tons, too, which I soon realized got me sweating a lot faster and I enjoyed a lot more. After all that I just started doing crunches and other types of ab workouts to really build the muscle.
When I was all done I looked damn good. My strategy was to burn the fats then build the muscle, but I hear it works better the other way around. In the end though my problem was keeping myself looking nice. I'm lazy.

Do some ab work but dont overwork yourself doing like 500 situps a day, get on a balanced diet to burn body fat but not muscle(if you're losing more than one pound a week you're probably losing some muscle), do cardio atleast 3-4 times a week and it wouldn't hurt to take some supplements like a multivitamin, whey protein, creatine, and glutamine.

I jump roped like two days of the week at first but then as I started liking it more I did it more often. But I always put in time to run though.
I'd jump rope for about 30 mins (or until I was really sweaty and tired), occasionally taking a one minute break when I messed up. |

Lol no way!
I mess up a lot too so I just start up again as fast as I could. I should mention though I had been running a lot previously so my stamina was good but the day after jump roping for 30 mins my calves were sore as hell. I can do a half hour easily now whithout much trouble. |

You must get bodyfat levels down towards 12% and lower before
abs start to become really noticeable, and incorporate some type of high intensity ab training, you can do crunches till the cows come home an never have the nice blocked abs you'll have unless your able to accomplish these two things!
