Garland

My name's Garland, I'm 18 years old, and I've been training in Muay Thai kickboxing since I was about 13 with an ex Lumpinee stadium champ, and later with 3x world champ Sakasem "the Punisher" Kwathawong. I'm 1 and 0 so far. I recently completed my TBA level 1 test under Khuen Khru Will Bernales, whom I also take JKD and FMA lessons from (he recently tested me at the equivalent of a purple belt), and Khru Brian Yamasaki.
I've had the unique opportunity to train with some of the worlds best, and have logged in about 45+ hours with Adjarn Chai Sirisute (4 seminars), 1 seminar with Guro Dan Inosanto, 1 seminar with Jerson and Nene Tortal from the Pekiti Tirsia system (I missed one Leo Gaje seminar... which won't happen again!) and a quick 1 class lesson from Guro Burton Richardson while I was in Hawaii last year.
One of the other many perks has been meeting other greats, including two of my better known ex-training partners, Alissane "Hollowpoint" Casey, Kwame "Mr. Wicked" Stephens, and Alex "The Brazillian Killa" Steibling.
I've had the privelege of meeting Master Toddy, as well as some of his stable (Kit Cope, Anthony Brown) Saekson Janjira and his stable, some of the Fairtex San Fransisco crew, Tim Sylvia and Bas Rutten.

Nevertheless...the best instructors and fighters I have ever known are the ones close to me, and I'm positive within the next few years, Khuen Khru Will, Khru Brian, and Instructors Brandon and Melissa Kiser and all of their fighters will become a universaly recognized force within the martial arts community.
