Fist training outside the dojo

I'm new to the forum and am looking for some insight on what kind of training would be best to improve my overall condition outside the dojo. Obviously cardio training is a must but I have been looking into plyometrics and would like to know if anyone has greatly benefitted from this or what kind of additional training they have found to work well. The martial art I study is called Chung Do Mu Sool Won and it is a traditonal Korean Royal Court Martial Art. Any input would be greaty appreciated. Thanks

For some reason, not many people check out these threads down here.
Your best bet would be to post this under the fitness or Korean MA thread.
There are a lot of people with great advice around here, Good luck!

Just get a bag and some gloves if u want to use gloves and start doing drills on the bag u learned in class, each time putting 100% into each technique. Eventually punches and kicks would get stronger and conditioning will improve.

Purchasing a Wavemaster XXL from Century MA, AWMA, or any other martial arts store can help you practice striking outside of the dojo. If you could give me more info about your style's strengths, I could offer a lot more advice. Sorry.

polymetrics would be a diffenant pluss to your workout, as well as adding a good medicine ball workout.
