Hi All,

First time here an all and I'm a long time practitioner in JKD Concepts and FMA and various other things. I am looking for some help with a serious domestic problem that could lead to some violence and I am trying to avoid that. Just looking for some by the book advice for this shaky situation concerning an abusive ex-husband. Anyplace to post something like that on this forum?

This is primarily a martial arts and self-defense message board, not a police office or marriage legal counsel (although there are a few police officers and lawyers whom post here).

If you are under threat of violence, contact your local police. They will be able to give you the best advice. Check your state laws about self-protection and get advice about what you can do to minimize your chances of a conflict - purchase a firearm and develop the will and ability to use it.

Are you looking for what is a justifiable use of force?
