Hey everyone!
I'm a working mom. It's obvious that i went to a forum that doesn't fit me??
I'm just interested because I have a 10 year old son and he is eager to join in martial arts classes.
I'm thinking that he's too young for this.
Just want to ask if he's now on the right age?
I just can't decide....
"In all countries where personal freedom is valued, however much each individual may rely on legal redress, the right of each to carry arms - and these the best and the sharpest - for his own protection in case of extremity, is a right of nature indelible and irrepressible, and the more it is sought to be repressed the more it will recur."

My 3 year old loves being around class. Sometimes he participates and some times he just runs around the room while we train.
He seems to pick things up without too much instruction.

Because he only recognizes the element of surprise.
You're the man , I'm the King.
we actually have a little ninjas class that starts at 4 yrs old.. 10 is the perfect age to start.. By the time they realized that they have learned something.. it's too late.. Enroll him..
Update! I gave my daughter a Spyderco Rookie/ 2008 sprint run with a GITD eyes SKULL bead on a short lanyard for her 13th birth day and she lost itthat very weekend!
Bummed but still looking for it...
Nancy? Your kid should be a Pee-Wee black belt by now? How much has that cost you?
