    Default interested Newbie here!

    Hey everyone!

I'm a working mom. It's obvious that i went to a forum that doesn't fit me??
I'm just interested because I have a 10 year old son and he is eager to join in martial arts classes.

I'm thinking that he's too young for this.
Just want to ask if he's now on the right age?
    I just can't decide....

I've been teaching her little bits of Judo and silat since she was 6 years old...

Not to worry. It's just "play" for now. When she starts cutting you can be afraid.

Her first knife is still in the tackle box!

My 3 year old loves being around class. Sometimes he participates and some times he just runs around the room while we train.

He seems to pick things up without too much instruction.

Because he only recognizes the element of surprise.

Update! I gave my daughter a Spyderco Rookie/ 2008 sprint run with a GITD eyes SKULL bead on a short lanyard for her 13th birth day and she lost it that very weekend!

Bummed but still looking for it...

Nancy? Your kid should be a Pee-Wee black belt by now? How much has that cost you?

    LOL
