![]() | I'm completely brand new to martial arts. I've had a desire to learn for several years, so I checked out all of the martial arts schools in my area. I finally decided to go with the place I felt most comfortable, so I am now learning Wah Lum Tam Tui Kung Fu. I've only been at it about a month and a half, and so far it's been brutal, but I'm loving it. Other interests: primates, anthropology, criminology. Just wanted to say HI and introduce myself. |

![]() | Actually, you're the first person to point out that those interests of mine are basically one in the same. I've been reading the board and trying to catch up on posts ... get a feel for the board so to speak. You're a smartass. I like you. |

![]() | Doing a good job so far I see. I've got a lot of questions to ask all of you, if people don't mind a newbie around ... but I'll read first. So far I'm learning that a McDojo is a very scary thing. Luckily, I don't think I'm in one. (whew) |
