Hi all,
Im kinda new to this whole forum thing ^_^ so please bear with me.
Well anyways i have started my own new martial arts web site and the address is :

It doesn't exclude men so don't worry im not being sexist its just I'm covering a lot of female issues like menstruation, pregnancy get my drift.

Only ever once ive had to use my self defence when i was on holiday in spain with my friend, some drunk english guy walked past and grabbed my arm luckily my m8 was with me and he said "what's a girl like you doing out this late then" i said could he please let go of my arm then my friend started screaming obsceneties at the guy and he let go of my arm to get her so i just instinctively pushed him out of the way and as he fell backwards kicked him in the ribs and me and my m8 ran down the street to the nearest nightclub to say what had happened but the guy had already left when the bouncers went to look for him.

I was ok about the whole thing because i knew we got off lightly but my friend was hysterical so i had a long chat about the facts of how some unlucky people get caught out and killed by vicious attackers and that our run in with this guy was unfortunate and he was reall really drunk and probably wouldnt remember it the next day but would have a huge bruise the next day, because my knee cap the next day wasnt half swollen aint adrenalin a marvellous antural drug we humans have!

I apoligise on behalf of us guys, we aren't all bad, but guys like that SHOULD have there asses kicked. You shoulda kicked him in the balls aswell to be honest, thats what i tell my sisters to do if they'r ever unlucky enoughto be in that situation.

Yeah, well the guy was very drunk couldn't even stand still so i thought about it and if id kicked him there i could have damaged him for life i just wanted to put as much space between the guy as possible, even if he was a jerk, if he'd been sober and trying to drag me away then yeah different story.

I might sound barbaric but in those situations you shouldn't show any mercy to people threating you, i never have. One night i was walking back from work with my friend and his girlfreind, some guy approaches us and starts accusing us of stealing from his house down the road, then as he reaches us he pulls out a crowbar from underneath his jacket. I thinking oh smeg!, he start demand things like money and phones, but me and my friend we were like no way we ain't giving u anything. After a minute of pleading his case that he was a desperate man who didn't care if he 'smashed us up good' it looked like he was going to walk off but all of a sudden he lashed out at my m8s girlfriend, luckily she had a CD player in her hoody and it hit that, then my m8 jumped in and caught the second blow on the head.

To be honest i was in shock for a second that he actually did it, i froze, whilst i watched my m8 stagger off in to the road the guy jumped after him and was about to finish him off, but luckily i came to my senses and ran at him and outta know where i just kicked his legs out from underneath him as he was turnin round, and when he fell to the floor i just kept kicking him in the ribs until i noticed my m8 on the floor bleeding, so i went over to check on him and as i did the guy got back up and ran off, i was lucky he didn't try attack again coz it was just pure anger and adreniline that i jumped at him (i'm not a hero i'm just angry), i woulda probably been busted up. My friend wasn't too bad as the bar had slid across forehead and didn't actually catch him.

I was in shock until the police came but from that experience i know that i'm gonna try not to hesitate to react when threatened again like i did that time.

That sounds like some scary s*** happened to you. O_O
See now i would have pulverised the guy if he'd tried to hurt one of my friends i go into rage mood lol have to control the red mist which is bloody difficult when your seeing one of your friends getting beaten by someone else.

I think it was a very brave thing for you to do, for your friend and im glad him and his girl-friend are ok could have been a very different story. That guy's pride will be hurt very badly and his ego deflated so he probably won't pick on anyone else so you have probably saved a lot of lives.
