Yeah i agree. just take care of yourself and you should be fine. if u take care of your body, when u get old, you'll feel a lot better than non martial artists.
as for kyokushin giving you a limp when you're old, i couldn't tell ya. but i have to say i often limp now haha

Well since kyokushinkai is karate, karate being a contact sport (if you want to call it a sport that is). You are very likely to sustain injuries that will make you limp. But regarding whether or not you limp as you get older, its not necassarily true. One of my instructors is 60 years old and has a history of a bad leg, he says he copes because its all about the way you deal with your injury, injury management is important in any sport. Doing this should prevent any long term injuries.
