Default Has anyone ever heard of...

Kajukenbo?

It is one of the schools which sparked my interest here in Tucson. I'm thinking of sending my child there as well as taking classes. I've not heard anything about this art.

I'm also looking for information on Matsunoryu jujitsu. Any information would be helpful.

Thanks.

Kris

Thank you, friend, for the link.

From the link

Students are not required to mimic the teacher, but are encouraged to develop their own "expression" of the art.
I don't know if I like that. Am I being ridiculous?

Thanks

Kajukenbo was my first art and it is a good art. What they were saying was that everybody is differant and we will perform differantly.

And they do encourage creativity. Thats what keeps an art "alive."

Akja,

Thank you very much for your input. I hope to move up to Tucson in the next few months, good Lord willing. After I have the family settled in, I will check these guys out. Again, thank you very much.
