Hi,
I would like to know what bunkai you might have for parts of a Kata for instance Okinawan Pinan Nidan ( shotokan Heian Shodan) starts with hammerfist to the left, right jun (oi) tsuki, turn right low block, retract rightfoot hammerfist and left jun (oi) tsuki My bunkai would be left wrist is grabed, which is countered by grabbing the oponents wrist applying pressure to a certain pressurepoint, strike a point on the upperarm, grab shoulder and while you turn push the shoulder down and the hand up, strike a 3rd pressurepoint in the neck, hold neck and push arm with left thus throwing the oponent to the floor the 3 points are points that should be stimulated in succesion and will cause dizzyness and wobbely legs What Bunkaii have you come up with? and why do you think it makes more sense than the explanation of the seperate techniques? Discribe the part as it is done in the form and then your explanation or Bunkai

My bunkai for that is against a kick, The low block is a hammer fist into the foot of the kicking leg and the oi zuki is what it is, a punch delievered in close to the solar plexus with all the body behind it. Not fancy but I've used this in sparring and it works just great.
