not shure what you mean by "as a classical art"

As a means of selfdefence it is just as effective a s most others, namely not very, as a basetraining from which to work from it is extremely effective

I personally never had any problems adapti9ng to training from other Arts or styles
Wado teaaches you to waste as little power as possible, it teaches you to avoid rather than to collide, its stances are more natural than most other karate styles
And it is considered one of the fastest styles by others

It all depends on what you like most, if you like contact a lot and don't mind bruises than this ain't your style if you prefer to avoid all of this than Wado is a perfect style for you

Default Thanx

thanx for the info! what i mean by classical is one of the conformed styles. most styles conform you to a "way" or rules .

Karate to me is a way of life. Keep training in your style and you will soon discover whether it is effective and suitable for you. As the good old saying goes "You can only learn from experience".
