![]() | See, look at this. Now I have lost a lot of respect for Shooto. This guy is not a true martial artist. Real martial artists don't act like this. He is just a whiny baby. I hope sombody kicks his ass and hands it to him. He is in no way a symbol of the way of mudo (or budo, whichever one you prefer). |

Its like a football coach taking it hard bigtime on his players. I think shooto is a find sportive system from what I know, and I think it has proven itself to be so. but yeah, he doesnt reall embody the "martial way" does he? hes a mean fucker. |

![]() | I have never really heard of anyone becoming better at anything through physical or emotional abuse. It usually makes them worse in the long run. They usually end up a weaker person if they are constantly belittled. I mean there are exceptions but that guy is a jackass. |

Hmmm... There was a lot of "what the hell are you doing, you idiot?" and "how many times do I have to tell you the same thing, you fucking moron!" and things of that nature. His accent sounds like he's from the Osaka area.

![]() | whats the problem? i think he was actually not that tough on them, it was not that bad, but im not sure what other peoples training conditions are, but personally i would like to train with him there, it seemed like a good training enviroment, if he was trying that shit with me i would evade and block his attacks, i would detect them comming before he gets close to hitting me, when you train your senses are supposed to be at there most alert. those rookies didnt even try to block him, and i think he would want people to dodge block and evade his hits, proving there skill to him, i personally would strike him back and show him his training is working, good stuff thats what i lie to see though, hard training, a few slaps wont kill you. peace.

![]() | can i just ask all of the people who use western watered down training methods something for a second, (dont take watered down as an insult because its actualy true), if you think this type of training is bad beause there i physical pain and abuse and hitting involved. how can you explain ring bouts? isnt that training where yu learn? and you take alt more punishment than that right? so why say one is ok but the other is not? peace.

How do you intend the term "watered down" as something other than an insult?
