Default Combat ki.

Saw a thing on combat ki practitioners on the discovery channel. I thought it was interesting how they took kicks to the groin and vital points like the throat as part of there training. http://www.jukokai.com/modules.php?o...index&rpage=30

Thats a pretty cool skill to have, but if you have to get ready for the blow its not all that aplicable to combat, or knives, or grappling. Pretty interesting mind-over-matter feat, though.

Angry Combat Ki

There is a name for this system in the Martial Arts world it's called Bullshido. Combat Ki is pure nonsense. I'd like to see these Combat Ki people take a random sucker punch when they're not ready to be hit, oh yeah and maybe instead of hiting eachother they could practice some actual self-defense techiques. Or do some bag work or something.

Call me crazy, but I don't want to train in any "combat" style/art/etc. where you stand there and let several people punch you in the throat.
