I've been to this dojo which teaches Judo/Jujitsu. It's decent. The thing is I went in the summer and it was 90$ the whole summer. During the year, it is about 100$ per month! Meaning if I were to go there one year I would have payed them 1,200 $ cash. anyways, there's only classes Tuesday and Thursday, from 8:30 pm- 9:30 pm, but it usually ends arround 10:00 p.m. So it's twice a week for about an hour or an hour and thirty minutes. Meaning that every month I would have gone there 8 times. About 8 hours of training a month for 100$ ? is it worth it. Let me give you the their dojo site also to check fit out, but remember to check out the Judo/Jujitsu section.

Oh Dear.
Not knowing where you live, 100$ a month sounds pretty decent. This is not the MA question, this is the money question, and only you can decide if the money is spend well: Do you like the atmosphere and the instructor, do you learn well there.... Schools have overhead that needs to be met to keep the doors open and the instructor fed, and the students pay for it. That's a fact of life. I know some people are fortunate to offer or receive quality instruction for free, but those cases are not the norm! And even 2 hours a week sounds good, especially since the schedule allows for over run. One can pack a lot into an hour! 2 to 3 workouts a week are recommended for the amateur practitioner. You can work out pretty hard and give your body time to recouperate in between classes.

I pay $50 a month for three classes a week with an 8th Dan Kodokan Judo teacher. It is very cheap even by British standards. I odnt know what prices are like in the states. If you can affor dit and theres no better options do it, its always going to be worth iot to train in such things.
