Pretty damned funny.
You don't actually yell "kiai"; it's more like the letter "a".
I wonder how that mistake crept into non-Japanese training?

I was hoping you'd grow up, but I guess that's a forlorn hope, right?

Dream on! This is trial lawyer Jubaji we are talking about! If he grew up, he would not need to bother arguing with 17 year old potsmokers like Dick Hardman, but he sure does! Every time!

Osu or oss, is considered rude in Japan, other then some Karatestyles noboby uses it, kyokushin being the style that is really know for it, if the greet/bow or if they understand something or to acknowledge
Other styles do not use it in any circumstances because of it's rudeness

Ki-Ai as far as I know doesn't mean Fighting Energy but harmonious Energy, in that sense it is the same as Ai-ki

Not true, I'm afraid. Businessmen use it all the time, as I described above.

The term "kiai" implies focus of energy, as in balance. (Think of reiki and other woo-woo nonsense. They're always on about aligning your energy.) The idea is that your energy should be perfectly focused and balanced at the instant of the strike, with which the kiai is timed to coincide.

Could you explain what you mean by that, Bod?
