Hey all. How do you guys like to balancing out your training? I spend more time on weight lifting/cardio than working on my techniques. As we all know, strength and endurance is very important, however, they are useless if you dont practice proper techniques. This is what I currently do (in order):
1) Streching (20min - 1/2 hour) 2) Cardio (sprinting/jogging - 1 hour) 3) Training on techniques (punching, evading - mostly footwork- 2 hours) 4) Strength training (1 hour - mostly compound exercises) 5) Eat lots of food because at this point i could eat a horse. I'll do streching and technique training pretty much everyday, but skip a day for 2 and 4. My overall goal is simply to be faster, stronger and smarter .I'd like to see other peoples routines. Any sort of criticism/pointers would be much appreciated! |
