Default Sifu Marc Halleck

I have just moved to the Chicago area and am looking into a school named NorthShore Academy of Martial Arts. The offer instruction in Jeet Kune Do. I have already found a Taekwondo school and am taking classes there and plan on continuing that. I am interested in learning a well rounded art. I am not a big fan of JKD but this guys sounds legit. His web address is nsama.com. I will post his info from his sight tell me if any of you are familiar with him:
School Owner / Head Instructor

Sifu Marc Halleck

Marc has been in the martial arts for 19 yrs. Marc’s training consists of Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Kali, Eskrima, Arnis, Dumog, Panantukan, Indonesian Silat, Shooto & Submission Wrestling, Boxing & Thai Boxing, as well as Tae Kwon Do and Karate.

Ranking:
Apprentice Level 1 Instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto in Jun Fan
Apprentice Level 1 Instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto in Kali
Apprentice Level 3 Instructor under Guro Ron Balicki in Kali
Advanced Level 4 under Guro Ron Balicki in Jun Fan
Certified Instructor under Sifu Pete Hetrick.
Advanced Knife Instructor under Hock Hochheim
3rd Degree in Hand to Hand Combat under Hock Hochheim
3rd Degree in Archipelago Combatives under Hock Hochheim
2nd Degree in American Bu Kyoku Ryu Karate
1st Degree in Tae Kwon Do

Most Memorable Training: The best thing that happened to me was getting to be a student/friend of Guro Ron Balicki. Guro Ron has taken me to new heights that I never before imagined. Opening my first school in 1997 was a major step in my martial art dream. Competing and winning the 98 WEKAF (World Eskrima, Kali, Arnis Federation) Mid-Western Regionals 1st place and took 2nd place in the 98 Nationals. One highlight of my martial art training has been meeting and training with the Grandmaster Dr. Maung Gyi.
