Default Combative Solutions & Senshido seminar

Anyone here attending Big Sean Madigan's and Richard Dimitri's seminar this coming weekend? If you are please post a review as Ii won't be able to make it sniff sniff, I have a weeding to attend. I was at the first Coalition seminar with Dimitri, Franco and MacYoung and besides MacYoung's portion of the seminar it was amazing! I would kill to be at this coming one with Big Sean and Richard!!!

I cant say anything about Madigan, cause Ive never seen anything hes done. Rich is one of the best instructors Ive ever had the honor of training with, anyone he thinks is good enough to continually work with (Madigan) must be good as well. I also look foward to reviews of the seminar. As for the first coalition seminar, Rich and Sammy always give a good seminar, but anyone else whos seen Marc's "Animal Dance" can think of him what they will.

If you've got a specific beef with MacYoung, then state it.

If not, quit hinting around at it.

Niether Sammy Franco, Richard Dimitri, nor Marc MacYoung are members of this forum and I will not tolerate heresay without specific examples.

You have been warned.

Don't make me go KenCook on your sorry asses.

Actually I heard from an actual attendee of this event that MacYoung was very poor in the flesh, albeit great on paper. I don't know either way of course, but I am always open to the views of those who have seen someone in action. I'd be happy for Rashid to convince me otherwise. This is not a wind up, and I genuinely want to know.

Dimitri and Franco were spot on at that seminar. Although I don't like Franco's personality or how he treats his customers the materials he presented that day were very good. Dimitri was very energetic, friendly and in my opinion a gifted teacher. MacYoung was dissapointing, nothing he taught made too much sense and several of his demos failed when he tried to explain knife defense. He couldn't pull off his own stuff and when he got cut during one of the demos he walked around yelling "I got cut, yes, but HOW DEEP?" Very dissapointing. I wasn't the only one with this opinion, several of the seminar members felt the same way. This is my opinion, you asked and I told you.

I was not there personally but have seen a tape, and it was quite a while ago so its kinda foggy in my head. At one point he said to act crazy for some reason and proceeded to do this thing that resembled a zombie from night of the living dead. His books are very well written, no doubt, and again sammy and rich are solid gold in the SD industry, but Marc behavior from what Ive seen gives our communities a bad name, as well as gets people killed. If this offends anyone, I can help that, but simply put every instructor and system has flaws, but this was unexceptible. Just a thought.
