Summer Focus

This summer we are going to spending a tremendous amount of time on firearms. We've been doing way to much empty hands and weapons for the past nine months. I've really cut back on my range time.

For the next three months we will be at the range at least once a week. This will be for 2-3 hours at a time. We will be using all the set up equipment ( six foot boxes put together to create halls and corners, reactive targets, bad guy/hostage targets, shoot and see targets, balloons etc) and we will be using various semi autos, revolvers and shotguns.

It will be all advanced shooters so the focus is on making tactics work under pressure and time constraints. About three months from now we will doing a series of SIMUNITION Scenario days to put a bow on this peroid of training.

This is of course in addition to our normal schedule.
