I've been looking for a school around my area and found one called OneDragon headed by Luis Gutierrez. The school looks good and the mainman seems really attentive, and very qualified. I was wondering if anyone in the PembrokePines-HialeahGardens(Florida) area have trained with him. I'm planning on visiting his school within a week.

Anyone know what he focuses on, how he runs class, what to expect?

Hi,

I trained with Luis, and he is one of the best guys out there, both on and off the mat. I can not speak for him of course, but I would guess that his main focus is in grappling, but I know for a fact that he has a solid stand up game as well.

If "I" lived near him, I would happily be a student at his school. That is the best recomendation I can give.

I would second training with Luis. He is one of the most impressive instructors you will find. He has a great atmosphere in his gym and is a truly dedicated and inspiring instructor. I can't say enough good things about him. Go pay his school a visit and you'll see what I mean.

Luis is the VP of SBGi and one of the best Coaches we have. They have great BJJ there, but like all SBGi's they also have MMA, self defense, boxing and kickboxing, as well as Judo, and LE classes.

Trust me, you found one of the best Gym's in the Country, check it out and see for yourself.

Awesome, hopefuly this Wednesday I visit. I've been out of any type of training for about 3-4 years now. I'm excited, LoL.
