Mike has it right. Your motives don't seem at all clear. You call your organization an unarmed combat organization researching unarmed combat but you also talk about tactical shooting. Are you looking to use this knowledge to train military or civilians? Why would anyone want to join? What benefits will they recieve?

Also to think that only people with master rank and 25 years experience in MA + military experience are qualified almost guarantees no members.

Besides the free certificate and honarary black belt, there seems to be no real info on what you guys will be doing and what benifits will the members recieve.

Anyone with 25+ years in MA will be a bit sceptical about putting their name and reputation in an organization without some ideas about legitimacy.

I'm sorry, but the whole thing just looks fishy to me. It probably does to others also. If I was abusing your venture it was only an honest reaction to a sketchy looking post.

    ITAC - Correction

    Regd ITAC:
After introspection, of Doubleouchs Mails & other communications, We at ITAC committee will retrict our discussions to only Martial Arts & NOT to any Tactical skills.

    Point of Confusion?

Alfa- first I would like to commend you on bringing this organization to light for those of us on this forum who haven't heard of it before. With that being said, if you're looking for people who have military experience in hand to hand, perhapes your requirement of a 5th dan will limit your potential group of people eligable due to the fact that most ( like myself ) have more belts than the men's section of Sears, but due to moving every few years and seeing the need to be well rounded in all aspects of combat, haven't had the oppertunity to train in one area, under one system, for the lenth of time required to recieve a legitamite masters rank. Perhapse this is just a way to set the bar as far as dedication and knowledge is concerned, or to weed out the sport aspects of a particular art, or I could just be way off base. If this is the case, I appologize.
Also, what is your method of verification for the military side. As Mike Brewer so correctly put, most military people are taught-conditioned to keep what they did private, especially in some of the smaller, tight knit communities that all branches have. If you require a DD214, most of the truely unique things that you're looking for won't be on it. For most ops, the first round of declassification takes place 10 years after the fact.
Please clarrify these things, as this looks like a unique and dynamic oppertunity for some of us old soldiers.

    hmmm...i agree with doubleouch...sounds fishy...

besides, what does 25+ years and black belts have to do with ANYTHING? did Bruce Lee have 25+ years experience? did he have any black belts? NO, and he'd still probably kick any one of us asses! (except me.. ).
