Default Facts about Bruce

Bruce Lee can have his arms straight down resting along his waist, extending his arm to a punch within five-hundrenth of a second.

Bruce Lee once kicked a 300lb bag to the ceiling.

Grabbed two 70lb. dumbells with each hand and extended his arms in a lateral position holding the weight for a couple of seconds.

Once threw a guy 10ft-13ft to the wall with an inch punch.

Held a 250lb. barbell horizontally infront of him for a couple of seconds.

Used to pierce unopened coca-cola cans with one finger. (Back then cans were made out of steel instead of todays aluminum cans with are much more fragile and weak).

Could do countless push-ups one handed along with one finger.

Liked to use auto parts as hitting equipement because regular equipement would break instantly on him.

Could explode a 100lb. bag with a single sidekick

Bruce Lee's side kick with extensive research came equivelent to a truck hitting you at 50mph.

My personal favorite...As a game, Bruce Lee would put a penny on your opened palm and tells you to palm the penny before he can get to it. Most people laugh saying that he didn't get to it. But soon they find out that he did, along exchanging the penny with several quaters.

Ummm, I think you meant a 125 pound barbell right? You can read about it at site below, it was supposably 125 not 250. But 125 is still more than most people could do.

I dont think anyone can hold 250 out in front of them, with fully outstretched arms for several seconds.. thats a ridiculous weight, and I know alot about powerlifting and all that, I doubt anyone would be able to do that. 125.. believable , but I doubt bruce could do it just because of his size, maybe some 400 pound power lifting champ...

bruce lee really did achieve a physical state that most people never do. for a guy his size, doing the things he did were incredible. with the power, speed, and technique he achieved he could no doubt have killed almost anyone with a single strike, no problem and he only weighed like 130 lbs. he would just break through whatever he hit. and this was with the older training they had availabe many years ago.

I have to say he was an amzaing individual for all his training and hard work that he put into his martial arts. he was very fast and strong for his size or anyone size at that i mean 125Lbs with out stretched arms is incrediable and to be honest I dont think I have met a person yet who could do that although im sure there are some. Of course thogh in the end he was still a man and im sure he had the flaws we do like getting a cold or waking up with a sore back but its nice to see that if you train hard enough a person can have great strength and speead aswell as a keen mind.

Older training? BL was a huge fan of modern fitness, remember? He lifted weights, not to look impressive, but to build functional strength and he had it. Not to mention that he perfected technique and sparred regularly too.

i think he meant that he trained in the 60's and 70"s compared to today with all our new machines and training techniques to be honest i like using free wiegths and simple machines i think its a little ridiculus when you have to strap your self in to use a machine to excersize but thats my belief.
