What Happend to this Forum

This is starting to suck everyone is chatting about who bruce could beat or how he sucked. I liked it in the old days (3 months ago) when I would look forward coming home from work and see what useful or interesting information i could get about JKD or anything realy on this forum. Now i come on and all im filled with is Regret about all these corny arguments about who bruce could beat in a ring fight which at first i thought was entertaining but that time has passed Bruce is a great fighter and movie star and all that and i do admire him but this is not the Bruce Lee forum this is the JKD forum we should be chatting about techniques, skills, ideas and other things like that and people should stop worshiping him and shutup for those who hate him get the hell out of this forum (which is the JKD Forum) and shut up. This will allow the rest of us to maybe get some ideas and techniques across to eachother. I think thats what would should do but hey its just my opinion, I dont mind chatting about bruce but this is to much. Now lets get down to business please haha

JKD, is heavily influnced by Wing Chun, and Boxing. It's primary line of defense is the downward sidekick also referred to as a stop hit. If you really think about it, JKD is really one of the first mixed martial arts.

lets also pledge to let any future "bruce lee vs. a$$ monkeys" threads just die without any posts from sensible forum participants. In fact, don't even peruse the thread. The trolls suck you in and then its all about making them look dumb - like that Mako Victim guy - can't believe they closed that thread, but then I realize I don't need to respond to every ignorant thing posted by people who have no idea what jkd is about (those essentially are the people who come up with the vs. threads). Anyone who goes so far as to even consider such an idiotic thread will be deemed a moron not worthy of our time.

Definately one of the better arts with a mixed martial arts focus - the creed of any good fighter should be "use what works, discard what doesn't." This is what makes the mma fighter's good and what any jkd practitioner should strive for. It seems like some of Guru Inosanto's fma background rubbed off on jkd as well.
