How about Bas Rutten Versus Bruce Lee

I would have loved to see Bas Rutten beat the shit out of the fake movie fighter Bruce Lee.
Granted he was an excellent Martial Artist but in my opinion he was never the best.
To be the best you prove it in the ring not in the Movies LOL.
Even Chuck Norris & Joe Lewis would have kicked Bruce Lee Black & Blue but they were too polite to hurt his feelings. Yes Bruce shared his knowledge with many brillant Martial Artists but prior to meeting Chuck Norris Bruce Lee could not kick for shit.
Chuck also taught Bruce Kicking Gene Lebell taught Bruce Grappling & Joe Lewis helped Bruce with Western Boxing, In return Bruce taught them his JKD but that was all Bruce really was just an excellent Instructor Movie star & OK Martial Artist. Yes he was well versed in loads of arts & attained incredible skill but hell if you want to talk the talk you must walk the walk that means fighting in the square ring. And the only fights bruce ever had were some silly street fights as a young Punk & His Movies.
His only interesting achievement in my eyes was his demonstration at Longbeach California he did a little sparring & showed off a bit of breaking & his one inch punch. All I can say is yes he was an excellent Martial Artist but he did not open the door to mixed Martial Arts. Hapkido Shorinji Kempo Jiu Jitsu Jukado & Hwarang Do are all Mixed Martial Arts & they were always available to students of the Martial Arts prior Bruce Lee.
So yes JKD is excellent but it was not the first mixed martial arts style.

And I would love to see a 12,000 pound male elephant beat the crap out of Bruce Lee, Bas Rutten and you all at once. hahaha

P.S. Miami is NOT the tropics. You should be named Latino UV, if of course you are implying the tropics in your name. Hawaii, Puerto Rico...

UV and air temperature are two different things.

    Oh...you fools.
    Wow is me.
Don't you know that a good tai chi practitioner could drop the whole PRIDE and UFC fight card by lifting his legs and flexing his sphincter?!
Seriously, any good tai chi guy could murder Bruce Lee, Wanderlei Silva, and Bas Rutten at once with his pushy hands.

But...I'd like to see a tai chi guy fight a great white shark.
That MIGHT be a challenge for the tai chi guy.
I was watching this shark week shit...the great white can grow to about 17 feet at full maturity...naturally some can go bigger or smaller...and can weigh up to 3000lbs as big as they come. They have this organ called the ampullae of lorenzini which allows them to sense electrical charges and movement in the water (tracking down the tai chi guys chi) {I'm cracking myself up with this shit...really visualize it, it helps} and can travel an estimated 20 mph under water, which allows them to propell themselves out of the water and do fucking bomb-ass ariel manuever's like flipper on crack, hanging out with the wrong clique, yo...
They also can drop their top jaw down on shit like carving knives, while their bottom teeth hold the prey in place, while they shake their head from side to side to tear off HUGE portions of flesh. Hella psi up in dem jaws. (pounds per square inch, not any mystic shit...you goofballs)
They have the best color vision of almost any fish, and can roll their eyes back in their head when seals and shit try to play dirty pool and foul play by scratching at their eyes when they gettin' munched at like cheese doodles on tommy chong's counter.
On top of that, they can learn 500 times faster than a cat. (feline domesticii...say it, it's fun) or in other words, 1000 times faster than a tai chi only practitioner. Wow! amazing, huh?

Yo dippy, Latino heat started this thread, i didnt post in it until your candy high kicked in and you began to describe your little fantasy to the rest of us. I dont claim Tai Chi or any other art to be the be all end all. i just prefer to train arts designed to kill as opposed to sports that make each other cry uncle. train what you please its your ass, protect it as you see fit.

    Oh really?!
Tai Chi teaches you how to KILL???
My God....I could never have imagined all those raisins practicing out in the park were ninja's at night...damn. Guess that means I'll have to go ahead and let them cut in front of me in line at the grocery store.

...you want a killing art, go for the FMA.

And on top of it....here's what I don't understand....
The one's with the brutal arts are respectful, train tough, and don't usually talk as much jive as the one's that practice tai chi or TKD...

Once again you show your inexperience...i said i prefer arts that train to kill, Never said i only studied tai chi. I have said i study the Fma's ,silats toolbox and Combat judo plus the cma's. i find that if i dont have time for all of them each day(Who does) then the IDEAS upon which the other arts were formulated can be found in and emphasized in my daily tai chi practice. you have but two arms and two legs so different styles simply have different ideas about how to accomplish the same thing with different combinations of tools.but here a real kicker for you YES TAI CHI CHUAN CONTAINS DEATH TECHNIQUES many of them. would you like some examples? the opening movement where both hands rise slowly as the stylest turns, thats used to teach the idea that as an attacker begins an attack you do that movement as though you were shakeing out a rug, one hand impacting the attacking limb the other smashing into the adams apple or carotiod artery, yeah done full speed that will kill just about anyone, but hey why stop there? the next turn of the waist can be used to slip the blocking hand behind his head as you use both hands to break the neck. note no mention of chi. you tell me how to post video i will be more than happy to oblige. I am not trying to say this is the tai chi you see the avg joe doing but it does still exist and it is still practiced.

You have that backwards, any time to cma poeple attempt to discuss thier art IN THE CMA FORUMS MIND YOU some one usually pipes in and immediately begins yammering about how kung fu is fake and doesnt work. So please dont tell me how freakin humble the bjj mt boxing crowd is. Please ...the biggest mouthed least respectful Martial art family in the world practices and claims to have invented an art that already existed. I am talking about the gracies and bjj of course.
