![]() | Not really, no. No one that's well-known anyway... But that doesn't matter at all - seriously. Because that argument is a piece of crap. Peopl ehave tried to prove TKD and other nonUFC arts ineffective by saying it wasn't in UFC. So does that mean kenpo is ineffective b/c no one in UFC lists it as a main style? Does that mean the much respected and feared shaolin kung fu is ineffective? Does that mean TKD, the style of Grandmaster Rhee and many scary South Korean special forces commandos, is ineffective? I dont think so.. Don't buy into the UFC hype. It's all just a bunch of white muscle men anyway. |

![]() | Has JKD been proven to be effective against any other martial arts at all? Have there been any kind of tournaments involving it? I'd like some info because I'm interested in learning it. I know it's not a competitive sport kind of MA but I'd like reasonable statistical prove that it works before I really get into it. |

![]() | Hear ye, Hear ye! Well said Eyegourge. Like they say, do not judge a book by its cover. Or, a Rose by any other name ... I believe Bruce is one of the first people to show how effective mixing martials arts are. And also show how no one martial art can dominate. Its like a big game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Its better to have all 3. |

![]() | I have nothing to add to that, but that I agree. The trouble with attempting to end discussions in a mature manner is that it often works.
