Default Video/DVD and Books

I am in the military and I am getting deployed soon. I have only been training JKD for a couple of months now and I was wondering if anybody could recommend any good videos/DVDs or books for me to study while I am on deployment. I have done alittle research and I have came across alot of DVD sets. I saw Ron Balicki's, Lamar, Tucci....etc. I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with DVD/Video, and could give me some feed back. Likes/dislikes, strengths/weakness.

Thank you

DD

I haven't studied JKD but I do have the Tucci Kali tapes to suppliment my training. They are quality products, so I imagine his JKD series should be just as well put together.

Also, if your coming to "TQ" I'm always looking for a training partner....Anyways, I recommend DVD's. DVD's can be ripped and compressed. Get a thumb drive and you can view your stuff on any computer.

Be safe and good luck!

Go to our school's site, www.andersonsmartialarts.com, and a window should pop up with a sign up box. Sifu Anderson has been filming a series of JKD and Kali videos and he is sending clips out to the subscribers every two weeks or so. I think you can also send an email to amafreevideo@aweber.com

Best of luck.

DD... I to recommend Larry Hartsell, I have been with him for a long time and he has some really good stuff. Go to his website www.jkdassoc.com and send him an email telling him that you are getting ready to be deployed and that you would like his opinion on what videos/training you should have and he will get back with you, He has a section on his webiste that is for the military only...has some really good material available for you guys.

Train Hard, Train Smart
