Nobody here is remotely interested in Mike Lee, his significance in the martial arts world and his contributions to the martial arts world can be summed up by one word - 'Insignificant'! The other people I have trained with are still all actively teaching, so easy enough to verify I trained with them, and people like Emin Boztepe are light years better in terms of physical skill / knowledge / teaching ability than the likes of Mike Lee.

But still expect a couple of thousand more words from NCQF on the subject - maybe taking my posts paragraph by paragraph & adding his coments below! Sure , it will bore you, me and everyone here to absolute tears , but he has to do it, he is Jesse Glovers / Mike Lee's top student & trained with them the longest & is their 'unofficial spokesman' well at least according to his delusions.

Again, let the final word lie with Jesse Glover (Mike Lee's brother) , he can verify to anyone I did indeed train with him, & that NCQF never trained with Mike Lee & very rarely with Jesse. Not that this will stop you guys from your very important sounding argument, but if I may insert my own humble opinion:

Bruce Lee was a great man, and it would be silly not to respect him for all he's done. (having agreed that he still teaches BL's curriculum if you want it) It's possibly presumptuous for Guru Dan to continue adding to his own art and thinking of it as JKD. It's possibly presumptuous of anyone to strip him of something BL gave him. It's possibly presumptuous of anyone to be having the argument you are, and it's possible that BL would be ashamed of us all.

But it's also possible that Bruce Lee would mostly just want us to stop the infighting, because whether we learn from each other or just watch each other's backs, we're stronger together. And while it's possible that he would have cared what happened to "Official Fully Important And In All Ways Respected Jeet Kune Do" it's also possible that if we could just live in a way that made us happy and fulfilled, he would approve. If he even felt it was his place to care.

yea, I know JKD is supposed to be for the street, but if it cant adapt to teh rules of mma competition, then it would seem to me to be a really inflexible style. Sometimes there are rules that one has to fight buy, one cant always go all out and use anything. If JKD is only efective when it can use the finger jabs and groins strike and all, then people who have to fight under legal type rule like police, security, bouncers, etc would find JKD useless as a fighting method. And if no original JKD npeople havent ever done well or even tried to fight in mma, does that mean that it isnt as effective as the concepts stuff who has had a lot of people fight in the mma and muay thai kind of fights.

I hope you can provide some of the info, I cant seem to get it from anyone else. And again, please dont say something like, JKD practitioners could beat the ufc or mma on the street if they wanted to or could win in teh ring if they reied, on the otehr forums they are always trying to use that excuse. i am trying to find some real info about the people who practice oriignal JKD before deceideing which way to go (original or concepts).

My part came out for some reason in the above quote last post. Anyway - note NCQF previously saying I had good knowledge above on Jun Fan JKD, now suddenly he says I don't. Note also the 'another forum' part , as Jesse told me he has done the same thing on several other forums - putting himself forward as an expert on Jun Fan JKD / Bruce Lee's early training / unofficial spokesman for Mike Lee , Jesse Glover , etc.
