Here's a thread that I think will be fun to work on, but also could provide us all with some really useful training material.
I am a martial arts student, instructor, and a bouncer by choice. I like the job because it is a great way to see the practical side of what we train, and an immeasurable source for information on how and why conflicts start. I'd love to hear you guys tell some stories about the fights you've seen and been in outside the ring. I think that it might help us all if we got a look at the kind of stuff that can actually happen out there in the "real world." Who knows...maybe we'll find a whole new area of training that nobody's paid attention to? Thanks, Mike

Mike,
are you looking for another place to send your stories? i guess more people would benefit here than on my instructors page. still think i will keep that private though because of the honesty of the stories. harley |
