Why did Dan Inosanto stop going there? Was it just because he is busy or something or any other reason? | |

![]() | The early JKD Bruce Lee taught was heavily based on Wing Chun, as taught by Yip Man. As Bruce Lee was exposed to other styles during his return to the U.S. he incorporated more western boxing into JKD. Having said that, my experience with JKD is that it is a non-traditional martial art that focuses more on real world use compared to some more "traditional" arts. Take a look at Bruce Lee's Fighting Method , if it's still available in print, for a deeper look into what it's about. |
