Default sorry, hikuta

It is claimed to be a better martial art than Jeet Kune Do, it will allow you to kill a bear with your bare hands, or is it kill a bare with your bear hands? Anyway, it was
featured on a Spike TV show called "Manswers."
It seemed made up and hokey, like a writers' joke along the lines of Uma Thurman's "five point palm exploding heart technique."
But if it really exists, then their claims need to be examined.
I always try to keep an open mind, even if it means investigating an outlandish claim. William James said that, contrary to the scientism and materialism of his day,
that it is better to look foolish in believing something false than to "lose truth"
by being dogmatically skeptical.

Being dogmatically sceptical, I think you are Liberty using a new name.

And I still have no interest in a martial art who's frame of reference is the ability to kill an animal.

The topic so bad, it couldn't fit into one thread? Is that where we are?

Well, at least it's not about what's better: Original Hikuta or Concepts Hikuta.

Hunh? And he here I thought you were "smarter than the average bear..." But that's Michael, ever, "loaded for bear." "Barely a dull moment," with him. "Guess I'll have to bare it." And that, my friend, is the true art of Hikuta, or whatever that guy was talking about. "Barely makes any sense," hunh?

I know, I know, but I'm sure that fighting a bear would bare out a need for overkill. Those are the bare facts."

Was in Greece awhile, remember? Oh well, whatever. Now I'm hurt - just for that, take this:

"Where be these enemies...?
That heaven finds means to kill your joys, with love!
And I, for winking at your discords too, have lost a brace of kinsmen...
All are punished..."

- Zepherreli's Shakespeare
