A little far from me with the traveling I'm doing, but maybe I can get down there at some point. It will probably be a few months though

Default Yeah, been around here and there lurking

You're welcome to come up anytime. We've got the classes up and scheduled now in a calendar for January 2008.

http://www.stlouistrainingcircle.com/location.htm#times

clinch / BOXING classes are mostly boxing, with some work on attached hitting and crashing the line into the clinch.

CLINCH / boxing classes are mostly working for position in the clinch and striking, with some crashing the line and corner drills on the boxing end.

CLINCH / ground classes are focused towards takedowns, controlling on the ground and submitting

Whenever you have time, stop in. We have fun.

Worked on clinch skills last night - mostly clearing the arms and takedowns. We worked a pummel drill at first working it easy, but then building up to working for 1) double underhooks with a hip toss 2) a throw by 3) duck under 4) snap down - double underhooks, crucifix.

Also did some head and handfighting working for arm drags, duck unders, neck ties/throw bys and snap downs. Good times, baby, good times.

We finished up with some limited sparring in the rimshot range, and then some unlimited sparring involving stand up, clinch and ground. When we hit the ground, we freeze, pull the muay thai boxing gloves off, and then resume.

Last night we had a new guy working out with us from a local Muay Thai club. He mostly new about double neck tie, so all the greco / folk style wrestling was new material for him. I'm pretty sure he had a good time.

Everyone learned a lot.
