Hi everybody,
Has anyone heard of Sifu Bud Thompson?!I was just passing through his website and he has a long history at the Inosanto Acadamy. He is selling 2 tapes and they look very interesting, I was wondering if anybody has seen these tapes or have experiences with Sifu Bud.

Cool Bud Thompson As teacher

I have not personally trained with Bud Thompson, but I did visit one of his classes that he was personally teaching. He seemed like a pretty friendly, straight-forward, no-nonsense instructor. Haven't seen his tapes, though, so I can't give you an opinion on them.

Default Sifu Bud!

Hey Watchdog thanks for the reply!Did he impress you in any way with his skill because when I buy tapes I like to have the instructor with a good presence which you can watch over and over again for example Paul Vunak, Guro Dan, and sifu Larry etc...

Smile Bud's Skill

When I visited his class it was back in the mid-1990's. I don't really remember too much about his skill, other than that he seemed knowledgeable and competent. If my memory is correct, when I was watching the class he was teaching kali-escrima. If you want an educated guess, I would venture to say that the information and content of his videos would be good and presented in a fairly straightforward, no-nonsense manner. I would not expect the videos to be a flashy MTV-style production. Maybe you can see if he offers a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied.
