Bruce Lee vs. Wong Jak Man, Redux

BL did defeat Mr. Wong, although it was probably longer than a three minute fight.

It was about Bruce discovering himself, andI do not denigrate the Shaolin arts. There were many Shaolinistas who could beat Bruce, but Wong was not it.

    Other mysteries:
Steve Miller- pompatus= puppetitudes= paper cutout dolls (The Joker)
The Eagles- colitas= pot (Hotel California)
America- Tin Man- The Tropic of Sir Gallahad- an evocative word-picture meaning nothing in particular.
Kennedy- Oswald did it and acted alone
    Roswell, Bigfoot, Amityville- hoaxes
Anna Anderson was not Grandduchess Anasthasia, but Ingrid Bergman
    was!

I heard Bruce fought very dirty with everything he had (attempted eye gouges, groin kicks, etc) while WJM held back because he didn't want to seriously injure Bruce. The fight started by Bruce offering his hand and when WJM went to shake it Bruce tried an eye gouge.

Also if Bruce won, how do you explain that he never answered WJM's challenge for a fight open to the public? Bruce had never backed down from a fight before that.

... I mean, he could probably seriously capitalize and make some money about being the guy who got whipped by Bruce.

Wong Jak Man still teaches in the San Francisco area. There is an old article on him in an early 80's Inside Kung Fu ('81-'83?) for those interested enough to track it down.
