![]() | on the web and he looks decent, but sometimes he seems to teach more like a kickboxing coach than a JKD man. What is his background, and who certified him? I have nothing against him at all, it is just that he is only known to me via the web. I have never seen any reference to him in a magazine or book. |

![]() | seen him give JKD How-to videos in expert village and is a fellow expert in the self-defense section of allexperts.com As an Inosanto Student I assume he's a JKD-Concepts guy. His profile there at allexperts: Quote:

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Mr Woods is a Full Instructor under Guro Inosanto, which given the company that puts him in means he must be an outstanding martial artist. JKD, especially the latter day LA Chinatown period under Guro Inosanto, does have a heavy emphasis on Jun Fan Kickboxing. I also see that Mr Woods is a Thai Boxing Instructor under Master Chai and a Savate Instructor. So yes I can imagine he teaches a strong base in Kickboxing. Nothing wrong with that. |
