Hello everyone,
Just updated the website. It has pics from recent training throughout the site. Changed a little content too. We are going to be doing another video in a few weeks. It will cover advanced empty hand tactics. I have a few people coming in from around the globe. Some clients from Germany and Chile. It's been a while since I've spoken to some of you. Hope all is well. ----- Demi Barbito The C.S.P.T. - "A Lethal Force Institute" www.DemiBarbito.com |

Hello Sifu Barbito,
I haven't been to any of your seminars, yet! I still wanted to say how much I enjoyed the article you wrote on JKD in "Martial Arts Legends Presents: JDK" Magazine. It's actually from March 2000, so I don't know how well you remember it. Nevertheless, some Martial Arts stores have these old issues on sale and this one is definitely worth reading. I liked your quote as well: "JKD can't be owned, can't be organized, can't be taught and can't be sold. JKD is a process, not a product......." For JKD fans who are on this site, I recommend reading this article. This magazine cover is shown on your website, but I suppose there would be copyright problems if you posted the article. Thanks Bruce Fan Ps. There are also a couple of good article by Paul Vunak and Burton Richardson, and also Bruce Lee's Arm bar: JDK Grappling before Grappling was cool in this same issue! |
