I searched trough hell to high water to find the website of Sphinx, the producer of my sparring gear;

here it is:

http://www.sphinx-usa.com

hope you'll find something useful.

Ciao!

I've searched the site but I've not found the caged headgear that I bought from them. I called them (even if it's called spx-usa, the company is here in italy) and they told me that the gear is new and they haven't put on the site yet (strange, I bought it a year ago), drop them an email.

Check out this mask. So far this is the cheapest mask that I have been able to find anywhere. I've never seen or used it, and the cage is a little more open than the macho headgear, but it's only about $60. And something for the girlfriend on the web site too if you can find it.

The grappling arts imply most fights end up on the ground. The striking arts imply all fights start standing up. The clinching arts imply the clinch can stop the striker from striking, and the grappler from taking it to the ground. The weapon arts imply the they can stop the unarmed man. A complete martial art implies any fight can go anywhere...be ready and able to go everywhere.

Default everyone gets workout space in heaven. but they have to fightHARD when the bell rings

most extreme? tell that to my nearly broken thumb, and my friend's blackened eye.

boy. I caught him in the face with a helluva redondo. we were taping the fight too.. it looks like an "obi-wan beheading" move.

I've called them. Tell that you want the leather helmet with the removable steel cage; the one padded on top, they will know.

Right now the price is 130.000 italian liras, that would meant roughly 45 us$; I don't know about shipping and handling.

I've joined a Boxing Gym hoping to polish mi hand strikes; right now I'm looked with suspect; I feel that briefly someone will ask me to spar, just to see if the guy from Ruas Vale Tudo is tough enough for the place....

In doubt I will elbow and headbutt, hopefully covering my escape...LMFAO!

So Underdog, do they charge you at the gym? Sounds like something I've been thinking about.

Dwayne, let me know how mask is when it gets in. The price is the cheapest I've seen on the market.

I'm not going to be able to order it til the 17th..seems I'm being sent to atlanta for training.

not of the "getting beat with big assed sticks" kind..the programmer/developer kind.

which will be fun..I haven't seen Atlanta women yet.
